Shim Pads

These pads and shims are not a cure all and are only effective when used with a proper foundation of knowledge. Although shimming can be very effective if done wrong it can make the situation worse.

• Your saddle must have a functional rigging!
• If it is a double rigged saddle you must tighten your rear cinch.

Saddle Pads: $135.00

Our shim pads are 3/8" wool felt pads. The top is canvas that has a pocket with Velcro closures to slide shims into. The pads are available in the following colors : Black, Brown, Navy, Hunter Green, Burgundy. This pad is designed to be used in combination with the shims to help correct a poor fitting saddle or to help compensate for body issues caused by outside factors

We recommend the use of a Navajo blanket under a properly fitting saddle.
